Baja Mexico

Baja Mexico, or the Baja California peninsula as its also known, is where the Pacific Ocean meets the tranquil Gulf of California (also known as the Sea of Cortez). The area includes beautiful resort hubs such as San Jose del Cabo (Los Cabos/Cabo San Lucas), Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit, Mazatlan and some breathtaking islands. Cruise vacationers to Baja Mexico are usually in search of great surfing and fun nightlife. Whale watching is also a main attraction for the area and The Sea of Cortez is known to be calm and a popular spot for whale migration. It shouldn't be a problem to spot humpback whales, the California grey whale, killer whales and even manta rays. There have also been sightings of the mythic blue whale in the area.
